This project encompassed updating the form of the Bloom Farms Highlighter to better fit the Bloomfarms identity. Redesigned mouthpiece, battery housing and stylus tip. Form language development, sketches, 3d models, 3d rendering and color / material / finish were all executed by Treibdesign.

Inspired by the importance of 4 color process printing using the iconic hues of cyan, magenta, yellow and key (black) in our everyday lives. This watch is constructed out of clear nylon with capsules of C, M, Y and K ink suspended at the 12 hour markers. In the heart of the watch is a three hand automatic skeletion movement.
The watch is packaged with 4 additional straps in the corresponding C, M, Y and K colors to match your mood. To illustrate what can be achieved with these 4 humble colors an original poster was designed that artfully shows how CMYK printing can be used to great affect.

VINTAGE URBAN TRAVEL
To get familiar with my inspiration and connect to the concept I draw small context images to illustrate where the idea is drawn from. I wanted to tap into the idea of embodying fashion in urban transportation.
TOP VIEW SKETCH
This sketch captured the idea of a profile that looks like the rear fender on the Vespa rotated 360deg. and then cut out by a pillowed form in top silhouette. The crown guard is created by not continuing the pillowed form all the way around. The dial draws on the pronounced cowling on the Vespa head light.
This rendering was part of the final sketch presentation before moving to sampling.
1st ROUND MODEL
Originally this concept was imagined as a sport watch with a chronograph movement and seven link bracelet. It proved too masculine in sampling and adjustments were made. We tried different kinds of pushers and bracelets, but ultimately the watch would need a bigger shift to be successful.
2nd ROUND MODEL
By exchanging the chronograph movement for a multifunction with day and date the watch has a more feminine outlook with no pushers. I also exchanged the outer minute track for a concave ring set with crystals. This a perfect subtle feminine detail on this watch. The crown still tucks beautifully into the rounded casewall.
FOSSIL Q Bracelet
Entering into the wearable tech market Fossil needed a way to position itself in a way that took advantage of it's strength in producing fashionable high quality accessories while incorporating technology into a brand more notable for vintage styling. I worked on the concepting for the app with R/GA, which incorporated step tracking, filtered notifications and a special alert to help people engage their curiosity. I also developed one of the launch products which is the Q Dreamer bracelet seen here.

EARTHWING NLS (Next Level Shit)
This video was a project done for Earthwing Skateboards. After designing the mold for the deck with Brian Petrie, I modeled and rendered an animated sequence showing all the components as well as some of the marketing elements from the brand. This was cut with live action to create a promotional teaser for the launch of the deck. The deck sold out in a matter of days.
