Entering into the wearable tech market Fossil needed a way to position itself in a way that took advantage of it's strength in producing fashionable high quality accessories while incorporating technology into a brand more notable for vintage styling.  I worked on the concepting for the app with R/GA, which incorporated step tracking, filtered notifications and a special alert to help people engage their curiosity.  I also developed one of the launch products which is the Q Dreamer bracelet seen here.

This project encompassed updating the form of the Bloom Farms Highlighter to better fit the Bloomfarms identity.  Redesigned mouthpiece, battery housing and stylus tip.  Form language development, sketches, 3d models, 3d rendering and color / material / finish were all executed by Treibdesign.

For the design of the 2019 Skate IDSA jersey the mission was to convey the feeling of motion and make it look in line with car racing for its unveiling at the Homestead-Miami Speedway for the IDSA’s 2019 24hr Ultra Marathon. The design incorporates all the sponsors logos through the use of a pattern that is getting torn in half by a racer blasting through the checkered flag motif across the back of the shirt.

Conceived as a variable pattern, six different square graphic modules were developed that when placed on any edge next to the other tiles would connect. In this way the user can arrange the tiles randomly or make specific decisions about the placement, but there is no wrong way. No matter how the tiles are placed they always make an interesting overall graphic or pattern whether installed to cover a wall or as a strip of backsplash it always works.

Each tile is hand painted using under glaze and then coated in a clear glaze coat for protection. Read more on the process here.

The Opening Ceremony watch collection was a collaboration with Fossil Watches. I was the creative director in charge of translating the vision of Humberto Leon and Carol Lim into watches. The ideas were often fantastical and technically difficult and we stayed as true to the initial concepts as possible.

Inspired by the importance of 4 color process printing using the iconic hues of cyan, magenta, yellow and key (black) in our everyday lives.  This watch is constructed out of clear nylon with capsules of C, M, Y and K ink suspended at the 12 hour markers.  In the heart of the watch is a three hand automatic skeletion movement.

The watch is packaged with 4 additional straps in the corresponding C, M, Y and K colors to match your mood.  To illustrate what can be achieved with these 4 humble colors an original poster was designed that artfully shows how CMYK printing can be used to great affect.
